Brief Description:  Riveting the rudder: Part 2

The trailing edge was riveted against the flat table and turned out to be very strait with almost no extra work to correct. The hand squeezer was used and the rivites filled both dimpled surfaces. I seem to like the hand squeezer over the air tool since it gives me more control of the squeeze.
The hole in the brace member made reaching the back of the rivet hard to reach with any bucking bar I had. I ended up using a padlock backed with a bar to set the rivet. This seems to work well.
Straight Trailing Edge
Close up of the back of the rivet filling the dimpled surface. Much better looking than I expected.
