Brief Description:  Elevator and counterbalance arms

Stiffernes were cut and fitted to skins. No big deal, but ti took too long.I tried to do a new way of dimmpling. That is to stick the backing part into skins. I did this by clamping the dimmpling tool into my clampong work bench. It tool a little work to clamp it, but it seems to work great. This way I don't have to worry about the rod sticking up inside the folded skins. I used use a piece of foam between the dimpling die and the throught of the tool. I then stood the tool up and clamped it. I clamped it so the skin would not bind between the spacing foam and the edge of the bench. In other works I let the 'bottom' of the tool stick out about 1 1/2 inchs beyond the end of the bench clamp. (figure 1)The counter balamce arms were fitted and drilled. No big deal, except I fitted and refitted and it tool way too long.
