This summer has been a bit slow on the airplane, due to a couple of vacations and now awaiting completion of my panel. The last couple of days I set the upper fuselage on the lower fuselage, verified the main location bolt locations, and did a final trim around the entire perimeter to ensure a good fit in the joggles. Then I drilled the bonding areas about every three inches, more in some places, cut a few reliefs and set sheet metal screws along the entirety of the bonding area. Finally I marked the location of each screw, so that eventually my helpers can find where to put the screws when it comes time to bond the two halves together. I also began work on the right front window by trimming it to size and sanding the edges. I'll later do a dry mount to locate all the clamps, then remove and wait till I finish the cabin door before bonding in the right front window.
