Finally got the trailing edges of the hstab straight enough to pass muster. Since I took some previously existing waves and bumps out, I knew that would make my gaps change. So yet again I put the elevators on, measured and recorded the gaps at the limits of travel. After that, I took off the elevators and added micro to the leading edges of the elevators. I also added more micro to the tips of the hstab, so that later I can match the hstab and elevator counterbalance horn. Tomorrow the elevators go back on, again, and gap sanding begins once more.
