It's the small stuff that takes the longest. Spent a lot of time today reinforcing the left counterbalance horn where I had to remove material yesterday, then added enough micro to allow mating of the hstab and the elevator. That didn't take really a whole lot of time.
But when I looked again at the right trailing edge of the hstab, I noticed a pronounced dip in the upper skin. That's got to go, so I spent a lot of time heating the trailing edge and clamping it to a 2 x3 aluminum rectangular tube. I tried various clamping methods, with varying success. It's better, but still not close enough to straight for me. More of the same tomorow.
