This evening I sanded the micro aapplied to the trim tab servo fairing yesterday. It does look pretty good. When forming the fairing, I formed a couple of ears where the fairing sits on top of the elevator. The fairing is bonded to the servo inspection cover, but obviously I couldn't bond it to the elevator also, without cutting it in half. My option is either to leave it as is, fastened only to the inspection plate, or to also put a couple of screws into the ears, fastening the fairing to the elevator with nutplates. I'll have to think on this for a while.
