I've now removed the top of the fuselage, since there's not much to do right now until I'm ready to bond it on permanently. So for the past couple of weeks, I've been working on bonding in the fresh air plenum. Seemed like a pretty easy task, but it has proven to be time consuming. I've logged fifteen hours, but it has certainly taken more than that. First is the trimming to fit as closely as possible, then the actual bonding with epoxy/flox. Then reinforcing with two bid, then micro, then sanding, etc. As usual, sanding it the most physically difficult and tedious.
