Painted the main gear wheel wells with gray 2-part epoxy fuel tank sealant to protect them from hydraulic fluid, fuel, dirt, etc. The Lancair build shop recommended doing this and at first we really liked the look and idea of it. After only about 6 months, however, it yellowed to a grayish-green color. I spent many, many hours grinding and sanding it off. I'm going to use a different coating that won't discolor.
