I ordered and installed EarthEx 900ETX Lithium battery. By way of background I tried starting the engine 12/20/2019 with jumper cables conected to my car. Cranked over very slow and our assumption was that the starter motor had issues. I then went to our home in Southport NC so work was delayed until my return. I took it to Holt Generator on 1/2 and he declared the starter motor A-OK. Hmmm! I ordered a backup starter motor which arrived 1/7. Meanwhile I also ordered a EarthEx900ETX lithium battery. I installed the battery changed a couple of cables so I now have #4 cables throughout the starting circuit. I gave it a try in the hangar and the motor spun like a top. WOW. We moved the rans outside, secured it to Greg's car, added fuel to the mission, and tried again. Started right away, ran it for about 5 minutes until cylinder head temps came up to 300 plus.
