Today, I primed and riveted the hinges on the pilot door in their final position. Next, I worked to cut the latch slot on the passenger door, and fabricate a bracket to hold the latch in place. Because of the position of the holes on the factory latch, I wasn't able to install per the plans. The pivot hole was too close to the door skin to install a bolt.
