Today, I spent quite a bit of time enlarging the aft hole in a cross member where the elevator torque tube ends. At full up elevator, it was rubbing the top of the hole. In the end, I removed the tube and used a dremel tool to enlargen it at the top. I had to do the same with two others in front of it. I also permanently installed the rudder springs, and began finalizing several other connections in the immediate area.
