Today was one of those days I didn't feel I accomplished much. I began working on the flap control mechanism, by painting the flap control attach tubes etc. Later, I installed them and the central flap control torque tube. Unfortunately, that is when I discovered I didn't have enough 1.5 inch angle to make the two support brackets per the plans, so another order to ACS. Next, I measured the distance needed for the two flap return springs so I could look for them as well. I'll need to make a hardware store trip for them. I also did a little bit of riveting on the cabin posts, as my countersunk rivets arrived in the mail earlier in the week. Finally, I fiddled with the switch placards in preparation for ordering them from the supplier. In the process, I found a light dimmer that wasn't working properly. Consequently, I spent some time troubleshooting but still haven't resovlved the issue. I may have one circuit loaded too much. More tomorrow.
