Today, I made two panels out of 2x4s. I braced the bottom, placed gussets on both sides, and then built an adjustable assembly on top. I used 1/2 inch threaded rods, 1 ft long with a stop nut recessed in the top 2x4. Between the top and bottom are a nut and washer, which will allow me to adjust it up and down. There are also casters on the bottom. I made two of these assemblies.
