Today, I spent most of my time working on the control tube. I made a couple of 1/8" cables to attach to the torque tube rod ends inside the tube, then I assembled the whole thing -- that took almost two hours. My first attempts had the bolt holding the torque tube in place rubbing against the outer tube. I had to reverse it and add a washer to the head for clearance. Then, I installed in the aircraft and screwed the delrin bearings in place, and then added the stop collars. Wow -- a lot of work for a premade part.
