Today, I spent more time on the control tube. After welding the extra on the lower corners of the tabs, I realized I needed to open up the holes in the flat plate to access the hardware on the torque tube that runs inside the tube, it took a bit of work. I drilled it out, broke it out, then cleaned up with a dremel. All four locations. I also had to drill several holes out to 1/4" as Murphy had only drilled them to 3/16. I also bent the stainless steel flanges that will attach the 1/8" cable to the control torque tube. Next, I spent some time working on the brakes. My extra two cylinders arrived from Matco and I went ahead and put them in place. I also mounted the remote reservoir on the firewall. I'm planning on installing a parking brake valve as soon as it arrives. I also removed the inner left post panel and made the doubler for the 3" pulley up near the top. Finally, I drove to Charlies to pick up the Nicopress Crimper.
