Yesterday evening, our French Exchange Student arrived. Julien is a second year university student in Aerospace Engineering and wanted some hands on experience as well as to improve his English. Today, after a quick shop orientation, we worked on fabricating and installing the packers under the horizontal stabilzer attachment fittings. We also properly aligned and temporarily installed them. Next, we installed the horizontal stabilizer and then the vertical fin. After removing the shoring from under the fuselage, there was a slight bit of twist in the aft part of the fuselage. Tomorrow, we'll correct the angles on the staiblizer and the vertical fin. The holes are not final drilled yet so I have room to manuever a bit.
