Brief Description: Tailcone Corner Wraps

Today, I got the two lower forward corner wraps ready, the two between Station 8 and Bulkhead B. I gave them an initial trim, and then drilled and cleco'd the bottom horizontal row by shoring it up with a block of wood. Then, when my wife Ruth was able to help, we finished drilling them out. In the 2nd image, you can see how much gap there still is after I shrunk the flange per the plans. Most I've talked with use a body filler prior to paint. Finally, I began to match drill the lower aft tailcone wrap. Tomorrow, I'll finish, then drill to #30, remove, prep and prime, then reinstall with cleco's.
