A good day. Today, I spent 3+ hours removing the hinges, adding spacers, and then checking for alignment. I had to go back and change two for alignment purposes. I then fitted the flap to the wing and it moved freely with no binding. The spacers were key. I was able drill the center hinge doubler per the plans, and then install it. As you can see in the second picture, I missed dimpling the center hinge cover top three rows and had to go back and do it. Again, this step was buried in one diagram and not called out in the plans. Tomorrow, I'll finish the center hinge cover and mount the flap on the wing.
