Today, I worked to finish the trailing edge of the wingtip, clean it up, prime the repaired areas, and then reinstall. I also cut the hole for the position light, inserted the nutplates to hold it in place, and then soldered the power and ground to the guts of the base. Image 1 shows an operational check, grounded to the wing, and the light at the other end. All that is left is some smoothing on the wing tip, a bit of filling, and it will be complete.
