Today, I cleaned everything up, made a small modification to the tip itself, then worked to prime and final rivet the framework. In the process, I decided to remake the false spar, the other had a few extra holes I wasn't to proud of. Then, I mounted the wing tip and drilled the remaining holes. I also made a traling edge piece and fiberglassed it in place. The only thing remaining is to remove and sand the trailing edge, debur the rivet holes, and then reassemble. I'm still trying to decide whether or not I need to made an access cover underneath the position light. Since they are LED and don't need power supplies, I don't believe I'll need one.
