Brief Description:  Left Wing Misc

Today I finished the remaining access cover on the bottom of the wing. Then, I worked to install a fuel resistance guage from Vans Aircraft. My plan is to monitor fuel on my VM 1000C as well as the visual sight guages. One tip -- I found it difficult to coat the nuts on the inside of the tank with proseal, so took the cap off a marker, cut it on the band saw, and now had a small tube 1 inch long. I filled it with proseal and pushed it over the inside of the bolt/nut and twisted. Worked great and contained the proseal. When complete, I measure the resistance and found 36 - 246 Ohms. Finally, I prosealed the remaining fuel tank access cover in place. Now, I need to wait 48 hours before conducting a leak check. Keeping my fingers crossed. In the meantime, I'll work on the pitot tube and the wing tip.
