Brief Description: Wing and Tank Skin Installation
Today, I riveted the upper tank skin in place, and then with the help of a neighbor, flipped it over and finished prosealing the corners, stringer brackets, and other areas inside the tank. I had good access through the two access panels, but thank goodness I have long arms.
After that, I spent some time avoiding MEK fumes and cleaning up the skins. The biggest mess was on the aft of the rear spar and the underside of the upper skin in that area.
The project will be on hold now for some time while everything dries. I can focus on a couple of honey dews.
