Today, we completed the riveting on the right main spar. All 3/16" rivets are complete. We payed attention to use of proseal today, carefully putting it on the shank of the rivet with a cut down acid brush, and keeping the tail very clean for bucking. The head was not as important. We only had one bad rivet at the end, and decide not to drill it out. Ruth has become quite the accomplished partner for riveting. In all honesty, most of the mistakes were due to my errors, not hers.
Tomorrow, I will complete the right main spar extension, then begin to drill and ream out the holes for the spar attach fittings.
