Today I built a small test structure with different thicknesses to practice riveting techniques. My friend Charlie Eubanks is coming tomorrow to teach my wife and me the fine art of riveting. In addition, I tested assembling two parts with Pro-Seal (A-2 from SealPak) to see how difficult it would be in the future. I used a small craft stick to smear it on the part, used electrical tape to get a straight edge, and then cleco'd the parts together. We'll see in the morning how easy it is to get the cleco's out and clean them up.
