Finally, back to work. Last week I installed an air conditioner in my shop, a normal split 3 ton system. Knowing little to nothing, it took longer than I expected. But in the end -- it's great. Today was very comfortable with the St. Louis area 97 degrees. I finished drilling holes in the W-503 doubler and the W-514 doubler. Then, I trimmed the spar doublers (the ovals) at the end of each doubler. For this, I used a hand held jig saw with a 24 pt blade. Make sure to put masking tape on the spar to keep it from getting marked from the jig saw. I then cleco'd everything together. Next, I need to dissamble and debur everything. In addition, I need to complete the right spar.
