Today I spent an hour determining the exact location of the large doubler on the front of the spar and then how to jig it in place so the flanges were perfectly even. I ended up with the main spar standing vertically and the doubler next to it. You can see in the pictures how I spuared it up at each end, clamped, and then drilled several holes to cleco in place. Then I layed it down to drill the rest of the holes.
