Today, my friend that builds race car engines, Joe Creason, came over and welded a nut on the end of my broken stud. We put a piece of stainless between it and the prop governor mounting pad. Unfortunately, the stud is really seized and it broke off again. Now, my friend Charlie is machining a fixture so we can drill it out correctly. Ugh!
