Brief Description: Removed Plastic from Elevator Skin
Today I removed the plastic from the elevator skin. I did the outer surfaces with the ribs intstalled -- see pictures same date in helpful hints. Then I removed the ribs, put the skin flat on the table and then removed the plastic from the inside.
This is also the first time I left the plastic covering on while drilling holes to final size etc. It did protect the surface much more than when I built the horizontal stabilizer.
