Today, a friend, Bill Peper, rode with me to the hangar and helped remove the cowling. We found the lower screw on one valve cover not quite as tight as it should be. It was one I had removed to add an adel clamp to hold some wires. Evidence was credible that it was the source of the leak with oil around the gasket.
