Today, I drilled a hole in the left front root rib on the fuselage and installed a rubber grommet with a SAFE Air 90 degree fitting. Pictures 1 and 2 show the installation. This will allow a quick disconnect from the wing mounted pitot tube. The third picture shows the two pieces I cut out of 3M stock to fit over the instrument panel switches. I'll take them to a local shop to have them engraved.
