Brief Description:  top skins, fuel tank

After a 2 week delay getting answers on how certain items are run, I got back to actually working again. Installed the strut attachment brackets, ran pitot tube lines and fitted pitot tube, installed and riveted top skins to wing. Began work on fuel tank, cut 59 mm hole for fuel sender & installed, put gas line & tank drain fittings in using Loctite 567 thread sealant. Fitted tank to wing, added cork padding, installed tank support bracket at rear spar line. Had to enlarge hole for tank filler neck to get it to fit, will need to add doubler plate to cover the gap.

Began work on wing root skins, installed wing root angle part # 75W6-5 at rib 1, drilled holes out to A-4. Still need to complete installation of wing root top skin and install wingtip and strobe lights before final nose skin riveting.
