After clecoing on the skins I noticed a slight bump on the outside of the HS skin where the nose ribs sit underneath. Even though they are nice and flat with 90 degree bends, they were still pushing up ever so slightly. Probably not noticable (except to this builder). So I took the skins off and did some more work on the two leading edge ribs to see if I could fix it. I started by taking out most of the flute I had put in. I think this was casuing an unnecessary lift on the nose of the rib therefore causing the buldge. I also used my edge seemer to play with the angle so the flange would still lie flat but not greater than the 90 degrees. I also took the leading edge to the scotchbrite wheel to get a more rounded edge. Should have done this in the first place. Put it all back together and both sides seem better, Now on to drilling the HS.
