Went backwards in the plans today. Had skipped doing the hinge brackets as I was waiting for new ones to arrive from Van's. Long story short, my kit originally came with half the hinges in gray powdercoat and the other half in white. I know there's nothing mecanically wrong with them but I at least want them to be the same color. So I wrote Van's and they kindly said to return the gray ones and they would send the white. Apparently they recently swapped powdrecoaters and white is their new color. So I had received a bit of the remaining gray. It took several weeks but now they're here. So went to work on getting them fitted. A little challenging with the center bracket/bushing combo as only one side of the bracket is match drilled. Mounted the assembly to the spars and then after some double checking and clamping, drilled the holes to the other half. Came out pretty nice. Will prime the center bushing once the primer gets here.
