Brief Description:  Flying and landing wire pins - Hole sizes

There has been discussion on the Biplane Forum regarding the inner hole of each of the flying and landing wire pins interfering with the wires. This is due to the slight angle these wires make with the pins. Left as they are, this interference could lead to rubbing and failure of the wire. The general concensus was to relieve these inner holes by either filing or drilling larger holes. Drilling the inner holes to 7/16" seems to be the way to alleviate this problem with no detrimental affect on the strength of these pins.

I tried to drill these out myself but my drill was not good enough so I had these professionally drilled to the 7/16" required. Sprayed them with epoxy primer.
