Brief Description: Trailing edge fitted to STBD lower wing
The trailing edge is T6061-T6 aluminium trailing edge stock and is glued to the trailing edge ribs using T88 epoxy. The inner surface is "scuffed" to allow the epoxy better adhesion to the metal. Extra epoxy is added to the end of each rib tip to prevent the trailing edge creeping up when the wing is covered. The profile of the trailing edge is flattened using some needle-nose pliers to allow a smooth transition to the rib.
After gluing, I was amazed at how strong the trailing edge of the wing became.
