Brief Description:  Riveting Canopy rails

I squeezed most of the canopy rail but unless you have a 4 inch yoke you are going to have to buck some of them BUT there is not much space for the standard rubber protected flush set and it can slip off.

My solution:

1. Take a peice of 1/8" bar (scrap from cutting angle) debur and cover in masking tape.

2. Make a masking tape hinge and place it on the canopy rail/side skin.

3. Insert rivet. Flip bar closed and mark rivet location. Flip bar open again

4. Place bucking bar in position and check it is centred.

5. Flip bar closed and rivet using the BACK RIVET set on the mark.

6. Flip bar open and admire set flushed rivet.
