Brief Description: Riveting F-817 Seatback Side Plate
I solo bucked the F-817.
Had you told me I would be doing that 3 years ago at the start of the project I would have asked " can I have some of that stuff you are on!"
I used bubble wrap and masking tape on the back of the squeezer yoke/bucking bar to a depth that pushes out the rivet and it is the gun pressure that keeps the rivet flush. As there is not much meat behind the end of the squeezer yoke I had to do about 4 bursts at 60 psi (x 3 gun).
You can see the shop head mark on the yoke so it it is perfect for the top ones and the #620 did the rest that I could not squeeze (I filed off the side of the #620 some time back in the project).
