Brief Description: Riveting the fuselage and skins upright
I have nothing to report on the riveting of the fuslage after it was all primed.
I solo bucked virtually all the side skins and bulkheads/longerons. A few drill outs but nothing major.
Whilst rivetting the rudder fairlead fairing I discovered a way of rivetting close to skin joints. This tip is in the Tips section of this log .
Solo rivetted as much as I can now so with the help of our neighbour Robert, my wife Jill and son Robin we flipped the fuselage ready for the remainder of the riveting. A major milestone that you see in other projects - so a great feeling, a little project victory today (27 Sep 2009).
