Whilst building the Landing Gear towers I looked at the fuel sysytem to see if I could do some work whilst I had really god access. As I'm fitting a Fuel Injection engine I drilled a 5/8" hole for the pump return line and also match drilled the pump/filter brackets.
Looking through the Fuselage Kit I could not find any fuel vent/brake tube or fuel line tube and contacted Vans they said they were in the Finsih Kit:
Me: "I am puzzled that the tubes are in the finish kit when the construction of these lines is mentioned in the Fuselage section of the build manual."
Vans: "Bob, sometimes I also wonder about how they design the kits. Sometimes things don't seem logical to me either"
No problems encountered though I needed an extended straight rivet set to buck the rivets next to the Landing gear Weldment. I painted the cockpit with Jetflex and this will be a seperate item in the log.
