During the Wing build I realised that I was probably going to be cutting quite a bit of angle during the fuselage phase and shuddered at all that hacksawing and so I bought a band saw.
After taking some time to set up the roller guides I cut some spare angle and then manufactured W-706A (Flap Spar Reinforcement). It was one of those moments when you say "why didn't I have one from the start?"
It cut through the angle like butter and took very little polishing on the scotchbrite wheel to smooth out. This model is the Axminster AWSBS2 (£125) and the saw is 10 TPI
