So another momentous occasion in the project - the arrival of the fuselage box, albeit delivered upside down.
With the help of Simon, my neighbour Robert and the van driver we unloaded the box into the garage. We decided not to turn the box the right way up in case we did any damage. This proved to be the right decision as when I unpacked the box there was no damage at all. This was all down to the superb packing by the guys at Vans.
After 21 hours of unpacking (an early christmas!) and sorting the inventory was complete. Only one discrepency - I was sent two female rod end bearings that should have been male. The only disappointing thing was when the replacements arrived - they sent me more female ones, even though they are marked up Male - a rare DOH! moment for Van's.
