Trim Tab Hinge. On the drawing the hinge holes appear to be 1/4" from the forward edge but if you do this (Image 2) the edge distance is 5/32". Standard aircraft practice (Image 3) states the minimum edge distance for a 3/32" rivet is 6/32" (2 x Dia). I therefore marked 6/32" from the hinge side edge and drew a line down the hinge and lined this up under the top forward edge holes of the trim tab and it turned out great. Same with the elevator side of the hinge and the trailing edge lined up great as well.
The edge distance is very tight so I think a 1/32" here or there should be fine - there are plenty of rivets holding the hinges on.
