I don't propse to post much on this because if I was doing this again I would do it differently. The current round door was done because I thought it would be the easiest to cut out - it is but I didn't give enough consideration to the hinge. It is adequate and does the job but is not fully sealed. At the time I made this I had not made square cut outs in metal - only round.
If I were doing this again I would make a cut out the same as the oil door on the top cowl.
