I had run the pitch trim wire through the fuselage but could not final wire until the HS was in place.
After checking the Vans Airforce Forum I elected to route the wire through the forward lightening hole of the left elevator horn, around the horn torque tube and over the HS rear spar onto the aft deck.
I wired the servo to the 5 core cable using D-Sub pins and sockets so the servo can be replaced if required and I used a 6 pin switch at the left deck so that the elevator can be removed for painting later. The 6 pin switch was soldered but if I did it again I would probably use a 9 pin d-sub connector as crimping is far easier.
