The battery of choice for RV's seems to be the Odyssey PC680 due to:
(a) Weighing nearly half that of the battery designed for the RV (Concorde 25RG-XC)
(b) Smaller
(c) Excellent cranking power
(d) Dry cell with longer shelf life
The only slight snag is that the battery does not come supplied with terminal posts and traditional car type terminals are not very flexible. It comes with an M6 screw.
I came accross on ebay some L post adaptors and though the guy no longer sells them a quick search on Google or this should reveal a source.
These posts are great beacuse you can rotate them to whichever position suits your installation.
