In the first photo you can see the tabs attached to the rear intersection fairing and in the second it is clear that they are holding the rear section from sticking up into the airflow.
Faired/glassed over the intersection fairing edges and first rub down. More work required to get really smooth but as its 1 degrees Celsius outside I think I'll leave that to Spring 2011!
