After fitting the Infinity Stick it was time to finally attach the front stick. A check of DWG 79 revealed a warning about bolt clearance (image 1). I had two issues with the front stick bolt:
1). The grip of the bolt appared too long. Checked guage and it was correct bolt AN3-10A. So placed two AN960-10's under bolt head. This resolved grip problem and end of bolt clearance with weldment.
2). I could not for the life of me get the second AN960-10L on the left side of the rod end bearing. So I tried to put in a 0.004" feeler guage and it would not get past the rod end.
Contacted my inspector and he said as long as the rod end has no side play then OK. No side play so move on.
The second issue was the rear stick bolts (image 3). The bolt ends were just touching the weldment. So I changed the orientation of the bolt (opposite from plans) and as you can see there was no issue with clearance.
