Trimmed the top cowl with an air powered cutoff wheel (same size as canopy cut off wheel) and sanded with the long sanding block.
Marked the cowl for rivets allowing for a 1/16" gap between cowl and top skin - prevent chipping/rubbing.
Top pin access - the dotted lines are the hinges, the wite area will be the access panel and the green circles will be the #6 screws (more to follow).
Drew a centreline on the hinges and then mounted and drilled the top cowl. Really pleased with left side and top but seems like I sanded a bit too much off the cowl on the right side but nothing a crafty paint scheme shouldn't cure. We'll see!
