Brief Description:  Fuel Flow Sender 2

I removed about 3 inches of the SCAT wire from each end (comes out really easy) and capped the end of the wire with heat shrink.

I made a small slit in the top of the SCAT and added heat shrink to the sender wires.

I wrapped the sender in 3 sections of opened out firesleeve (spare used to cover the hoses) and tie wrapped. Slid it into the SCAT and pulled the wires out the top. The exit will be red RTV'd before installation.

The ends of the SCAT and firesleeve were clamped to the hose using safety wire (Tony Bingelis Firewall Forward)

I also wrapped the downstream end in heat shield as that section comes close to an exhaust and I want the line to stay as cool as possible to avoid vapour lock.

Post Note 2016 Fuel Flow sender works a treat as at 310 hours - so accurate that I have a virtual fuel tank based on this information and after several partial fills is only 1-2% in error when I fill up to verify. I also lean using flight tested fuel flow figures. Very pleased that I fitted this sensor.
