It is clear that as all homebuilt installations are different in some way there is no magic sequence for fitting out the engine. However one bit of advice was install all those items that you have no choice where they go eg. Exhaust, Oil Filler and CHT probes (screw in) etc then work around them. So that is what I will do.
Don't final fit Oil Filler as you will need to remove it to fit a baffle screw - ask me how I know!
